I play at a few different places, but 90% if the time I play at a bar accross the street. They will let me store a cue behind the bar. I thought it might be nice to have a sweet one piece cue to keep there so I don't have to carry my two piece with me every time.
I like a stiff hit if that helps with making a suggestion.
Thanks in advance.

Any full splice with a maple shaft. Spend the rest of your budget on the tip.

If you want to go for stealth, buy a used house cue (offer $10-$20 max). Cue repair guy can smooth and polish the shaft when he replaces the tip.

Built like a two piece cue? This is dumb.

"Lucasi Bonded One-Piece
Built Like a Two Piece Cue for Superior Playability!

Lucasi one-piece cue butts and shafts are built separately, then secured with a 3/8 x 10 joint pin and permanently bonded with the world’s most powerful epoxy — an epoxy that’s stronger than the wood itself!

Lucasi Bonded One-piece Cue Features
15 inch pro taper plays and feels like a two-piece cue"

One of the goals of almost all cue makers is to make their 2 piece cues feel like a one piece cue. If you are a cue maker and this is not one of your goals, it should be.
Cue & Case trying to BS us.
I was thinking of purchasing a one piece Lucasi until I read that they are made to feel like a two piece cue. Stupid thing to do and say.
I'm sure they do it for ease and cost of manufacturing purposses and maybe to decrease warpage issues, but C&C would look more knowledgable if they didn't try to make people think that the hit or feel of a two piece cue is more desirable than a one piece cue.
I think I might go with a Duferin true one piece cue afte reading this BS.
What do you think?

What's the best ...?

What is your deal with all the 'what's the best'/ 'what's the worst' questions?

One with a little common sense would understand that there is no 'best', once there are choices established.

What's the best car? What's the best food? What's the best shoe...?

WTF?! There is no prize for starting the most threads.

Around 12 years ago, a bar had cuetec one piece house cues. They worked real good.

Can't really say what is the best though. I don't sell one piece cues.:sorry:
