Best One Piece House Cue

Trying to get some new one piece house cues for the guests when they come over to play. I looked at Dufferin but heard they are made in China now and quality has gone down badly.

Any ideas on some one piece cues that would be good quality and come in a set preferably. Just plain house cues with no wraps and nothing fancy.

Thanks

They're made by same factory that makes Predators and Lucasi. The Dufferin Hi-run are probably best house cue out right now. Players are pretty good too. Dufferins run about 35bux/ea.

Yes I looked for a while now and despite the China angle the Dufferins seem to still be the best. Anyone else have any ideas?

They're all made in China. Players, McDermott and Dufferin are the best with Dufferin the best of the three. Nobody in US that i'm aware of still makes house-cues. A 19oz. Dufferin with a Ultraskin tip makes for one really good cue for around 50bux.

Lucasi 1 piece house cues are nice, 40.00 bucks.(they are actually 2 piece and glued at joint)

I got a good deal on some action one piece cues off amazon prime during a sale, and was pretty happy with them.

1 piece CueTec
One piece Cuetec's are still good, but not as good a quality as they used to be - like most things. I've had a problem with some of ours, brand new, that have a very bad, unsolid sound to them when you hit them. They also have a problem with using a superhard tip on them that occasionally tends to have chunks fall out of them.

After running a poolroom for 22 years, I can tell from all the way across the room if a cue sounds funny at impact - either just a cheap cue, loose tip, loose ferrule, loose weight bolt, etc. I would say Players one piece house cues from Seyberts, or Dufferin house cues, are your best and safest bet.

Unless Cuetec has changed their manufacturing, the one piece are actually two piece glued together. I've seen them come apart.

I bought 10 dozen house cues for Griffs when we opened 18 months ago.

We bought Dufferins.
They were great then and they are still great....not one warped cue. Only lost about 6 tips. I would highly recommend them. The taper is pretty good and so is the finish.

The heavier cues are a little.'clubbish' - but that is a personal preference thing.

Ok I'm going to get Dufferins. Just need 4. Maybe an 18, 2 19's and a 20 ounce. Where is the best price. I've looked at seyberts and the other usual plsces and all seem sold out.

I started with Valley house cues when I first got my home table. Never had an issue with them. I did end up getting some Players cues to replace them but that was just beciase I liked the look of different cues in the rack. The Valleys were just fine.
