Best pool playing family

Swedish Carom shooters - father and son - Lennart Blomdahl BWA, UMB Euro Champion 1989 - Torbjorn Blomdahl World Champion several times

Iowa/Moline has some of the best -

Bowman - Jesse, Jaime and their dad.

Their mom plays good, too - I have a terrible memory but I believe her name is Sandy Worrell.

Wilson - Mark, Jamie Baraks (step son), and Mark's ex (can't remember her name)

Debbie Wilson. She was always a tough match, too. Last time I talked to her she was more interested in poker than pool.

people with family dont know how good they got it, i'd give up everything to have a family-even if they didnt play. I couldnt imagine how fun it must be to have a fmaily that does play, I see Oscar and Ernesto together and wish that was me. All the $$$ is the world dont mean nothing compaired to a good family.

You said a mouthful here Fatboy. Rep for this post. It really got me - because I can relate to you on this one.

John Morra and Mario Morra get my vote. These two can beat anybody.

Hope all is good buddy. You should come to Des Moines.

Great idea! We'd finally meet up. I'll be there Friday.

Word has it that a few folks named Van Boening can hit'm pretty sport too.

I have to give props to my family...

Even though they don't play any more....

Bob Dickerson Sr. (finished 8th in a world 8 ball tournament..year?? think in the 80s. traveled the road with Nick Varner for 10 plus years) and his wife (my step-mom) Christy Dickerson (finsihed 9-12th in first WPBA tournament back in the 90s)

As far as Iowa goes I want to mention the Bringman family. Toney is a former State Champion, his brother Tim plays very good, and their brother-in-law Mark plays very good also and Mark's son who is only 15 I believe was on the team that won Junior Nationals last week and I think he placed 3rd in the State Juniors for the ISPA last year as well. I consider most of them my friends and just had to mention them. Thanks.

As far as pool playing families who are the most noteworthy...
besides, Shane, his mom Timmi and an aunt I beleive.
John Hennesee and his mom June Haggarr.
The Bowmans... Jessie, Jamey and Duane.

One should not forget to include Shane`s grand father and late grand mother .I had seen his grandpa and grandma playing in vegas in late 80s.

talking about family, there is a family in a small town called RotaRoa in the north Island of Newzealand.Total of 11.They all travel together in a van for the tournaments. Many times they end of playing against each other.one time I had seen that the mother had to play her 11 year old daughter. During that match I became very sentimental and I cried when the 11 year old got beat by her mother. Two memebers of that family won the oceana ( New zealand & Australia ) championship and they represented Newzealand in the international tournaments.

Addendum: there is another family consisting of father and daughter.Natasha Roberts was number two in newzealand and she is the daughter of Mr.Roberts who was Oceana`s snooker champion.Natasha and her boy friend schone were my practice partners when I lived in Auckland,Newzealand.

I knew I would forget a few, but how I neglected to mention Ernesto, Oscar and Lou and Sal is beyond me!

I'd have to second the Rakins. All of them play really well. For those of you who don't know them, the whole family plays pretty sporty. There's the father Dante, his sons, Dante and Daniel, and his daughters Mary, and Michelle. Mary just won the womens division at the BCA in Vegas this year, and just look up Michelle to see her accomplishments.
