better and better ever since .You would be hard pressed to find a better
instructor than Stan. He will give you a map to what ever goal you want
to achieve in this game .Its up to you how far you can go after that with
the amount of practice and work you want to put in

Randy, if one is to follow your program, what level of play is expected of him after a few months of dilligent practice and play?

Hi JoeyinCali: Great question. I've seen some of our students win National Championships within a year while others are still improving their games.

I don't know that we can put a "level" to anyone. What I do know is this:

The majority of our students improve their level of play every day. Our School's teachings are centered around "teach a man to fish" not giving him a fish. Our motto is: "You must learn from every stroke". When students leave us the first time, they know alot more about their game and their life. It's their job to maintain their growth.

School is something that happens over time, we just don't wake up one day and win Championships. But I know that you understand that.

I'm 66 years old and play better every day, thanks to School.

Godd bless you and see you in the future.....SPF=randyg

The best instructor is...

the best player in your area that will take you under his wing and teach you. You need someone to coach you on a daily basis, and give you constant feedback. $500 for 4 hours or so won't buy you that much. 50 ten dollar sets with someone good who is willing to help you will buy you a lot more. All I had to do was pay time and rack.

I was playing about once a week with one of the top players in my area, but he didn't give that much advice. I just had to watch and learn. We never did play for money, but I would always drive and most of the time pay for the meals. He didn't have a job and just played pool for 8 years to pay the bills. We still play some but he sold his table and he is not allowed to play in most of the tourneys that I do b/c he wins them everytime and people stopped coming - so they banned him. I guess that is what hard work and practice will get you in this area.
