Best tip? What are you using?

Hercules

I used Triangles for years, then LePro, then switched to Moori, then Sniper. I love snipers. They last a long time, and they hold chalk well. A friend of mine told me about Hercules and I must say that I might go to these on everything now. (I have Hercules on two of my shafts, and Snipers on the other shafts.) All the great aspects of the Sniper but they seem to last longer and not mushroom. The snipers did mushroom after a while and I would have to do more maintence to them than the Hercules.

My breaking tip is a hard water buffalo single layer tip, and I won't change that for anything cause it lasts long, doesn't mushroom, holds chalk, and breaks like a mother........

Talisman medium. They feel just right to me, and hold the dime shape pretty well. I have reshaped my tip just once after six months. Back when I played a nickel shape, I didn't reshape at all.

Regards,

Detlev

I use Triangle or Moori on pretty much anything I own, but have been trying out the BlackJack tips on my Carmelli for the last month.
Still can't decide if I like it or not......
Loved the Talisman M w/b on my Nova though

Any Hard tip that is installed right will do for me. I have Moori, Kamui, Molavia, WB, Talisman WB, Pressed Elk Master, Pressed LePro, Sumo, etc... on my various shafts and they all play great. They are all trimmed down to about 5/16" thinkness right from the start and dime shaped.

I like the Kamui I am playing with now,but do like Moori and if i cant find a Moori I go with Hercules, all medium tips. :)

I was using Morri Quick but when I switched to a Z2 shaft they were too soft. Playing with a Talisman Pro X hard and I really like the combination of the Z2 with the Talisman Pro X hard.

I've had snipers for the last year and a half (on the Varney and the Carmeli) and absolutely love them. I also love triangles :)

Off topic,
but...
Just FTR...

I am in no way affiliated with, nor do I distribute "BlackJack tips"... the only tips I have for sale are instructional.

I have no idea how these tips perform, how long they last, what they are made of, or what they look like, sorry.

My instructional tips work well for most that are willing to put forth the effort. I have received literally hundreds of requests over the past few months asking about "BlackJack Tips", so I hope this post takes care of the confusion.

To stay on topic, after talking to Corey Deuel last year about his pancaked tip, we had a long conversation about LePros. He uses a LePro till its almost gone, I have always felt the same way about them, the older and flatter it gets, the more I like it!

Everest on my playing cue. Stingray on my breaking cue. I also like the Talisman Pro med. and Sniper.
