Best value for a white modern pool table

Being in Vegas, I doubt you'll need the firewood that you'll have in less than 10 years.

Buy quality and you'll have style, performance, longevity, and resale value.

Some things are not meant to.be.

Let her have the family room. You keep your reason to get out of the house.

had to get a white table to match the wife's bar cabinet in the den.

...then I got my tool box out and built a matching TV frame (complete with matching niches)

Wife is happy, and as they say --> happy wife = happy life.

(this table is not particle board)

Veeery nice! Surprisingly, it's the TV niche that really pulls everything together.

OK, wife agreed to having a pool table in the family room of the new Las Vegas house, ON THE CONDITION that it match the rest of the furniture....:o

in other words, modern and white (possibly chrome/stainless steel)

Olhausen makes this one in the pic, Aragon makes a cheaper version (see link).....comments, suggestions? Better choices??

(Due to space 7 foot fits best, possibly 8 foot with some tight spots)

Thanks

If my wife told me I’d have to buy that white POS or another Olhausen table I’d be looking for a new wife, not a table. A man has got to know his limitations:wink:

I'd call it a win.. because she didn't insist on red/maroon/win colored cloth. White table, yellow table, pink polka dots, who cares. I don't shoot on the side of the table :)

I was going to say get a white GC1, but then noticed space issue.

I suggest a new wife and larger room for the table

I don't really get a white theme to a room, it pretty much states "I am obsessed with cleaning" or "we never use this room" or "we don't have kids".

An 8' Diamond in the lighter wood should still look nice without looking like you bought the thing as furniture or decoration. Paragon with clear coat will look pretty modern and light.

Paint a diamond. I've seen a couple that were painted/stained. Both were very good looking tables.

As far as drop pocket or not.....instead of taking ANYONE'S advice on that from AZB....LOL....its simple, take your wife to see a pro-am and ask "honey, if this was white, would you be ok with it???".

If she says yes....lol....no brainer. Get a 9' pro-am if you have room and have it professionally painted.

Again, a diamond pro-am painted white......IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!

That's a lot of white. I don't think interior decorating would be an actual job if it only amounted to buying everything in the exact same color.

It's not my taste at all but congratulations for getting a home table at all. I suspect a very small portion of forum members have a table at home.

And BTW, even though you showed us the table you chose a day or two ago, expect recommendations to continue for a week or two. Nobody reads what the others post...just the thread title, maybe skim the OP and spew away.

I'm interested in buying this exact Ozone Billiards table now. How has it been for you? I contacted a local billiards shop that has been in business for over thirty years and he says he has set this exact table up for clients in my area and it is a pretty decent table accept it has shallow pockets that only accept three balls per pocket. What has been your exprience with this table, if you had a do over would you get it again? I also need to get a white table as well.
