Hi guys,

I am looking for some new wraping material for my cue. I have very sweaty hands, and they make it extremelly hard for me to shoot under pressure. Even Iris Linen can not absord all the sweat from my hands. So can you tell me whether there is any better solution ?

Thanks alot

Best Regards

You may be surprised but a wrap-less cue can be good for sweating hands. Your first thought is it would be slippery but it actually is easy to keep dry and even has a bit of a tackiness to it that stops the slipping.

I agree! I sweat in the shower. Nobody sweats as much as me. I play with a wrapless cue ( # 15 on my web site). I find it the most comfortable, because it is so easy to wipe clean...JER

I would say cork or a wrap less cue, but there is also a rubber sleeve that the 3-Cushion Billiards players use on their cues. It slides over the handle section of the cue and and it has a semi-rough surface that you grip. Since it is rubber, it doesn't matter how much your hands sweat it will not become slick and they will fit any cue with or without a wrap, but the best part is they will only cost you between $5 and $15.

I don't remember what they call them off the top of my head but you can go to the 3-Cushion forum here on AZ and ask some one may have one for sale.

Hope this helps

Elephant ear would be my choice. All of the others mentioned are good choices as well.

I agree with Steve. I have always liked a cork wrap since the early eighties when I had a Mcdermott with one but Since I've felt the Elephant ear wraps I must say that I like them even better.
