Beta test a new website

I'm in.

Great idea. How about a comfort range for money games, since I'm very uncomfortable lately:D ?

How about extending the character length for the "Quote" box? Its kinda short IMO.

Also, whenever I go to edit my information. It will put a couple "<BR />" options between my text and my videos each time, throwing off the format I had them in.

This happenes everytime I click on My Information.

I'm in. Will update data later. This will be useful if it takes off.

I registered and added my room. Hope to see this grow. I'll keep checking in and try to contribute.

OK, I see what you are talking about now. I currently don't have a system in place for allowing users to comment on rooms, but that is a very good idea. If I kill the google maps thing, then there would be all kinds of room for that.

What do others think? Is the google maps overkill? I can easily rip that code out and just offer it as a link at the bottom.

Mike

Mike, I like the Google map but...........There are many rooms missing in my area. Why ? Heck, even 2 of the largest, The Pool Room in Marietta and Duluth are missing from the map.

My Zip code is 30084

I like the site. I like it a lot !

Anyone want to test out a new website I have been working on? I think it is ready for launch, but would really like a few other people to put it through the motions to see if it has any bugs.

Thanks,
Mike

wHEN i SEARCH for a pool room near zip code 70005 within 25 miles, even though I added Buffalo Billiards in zip code 70001 which is only a few miles away, they do not pop up but three other small pool halls manage to pop their heads up.

I know the data is horribly incomplete. I am dealing with a database that was given to me by a friend that contains about 2500 entries. Some of those entries are pro shops too.

I am working on adding to this database as quickly as possible. The first step will be to integrate the rooms that are listed in my tournament database.

Easy signup, but it accidentally put 2 profiles up for me when I modified the first one. I don't particularly like having my age and city up there, but oh well, that's one reason I lied.

Perhaps we ought to have age ranges.

Also, I like the concept, but in Myspace when you push the 'home' link, it takes you back to your profile where you can modify, read messages, etc., whereas on your site, it takes you back to the site's home page.

I will have to look for the other features, since I missed Google map.

I made a change so that the room search went to a text list and then offered a link at the bottom to the google map page.

Yeah, that list has some incorrect entries. Not as good as my Definitive Places thread :D , but it's a good start. :)

Do you mind if I use that info to add those rooms?
