I have searched but could only a few reviews of
BHQ (Brent Hartman cue ). All were rave reviews, so I bought a great
Looking pj kingwood with brown leather wrap. His cues seem to be very reasonably priced , $375 for a custom cue with leather is great price. I Will post pics and a review when I receive it. Any other azers have any opinions on BHQ ?

seanandnik, I'm glad you did grab the cue I was eyeing it very hard. Brent forgot my son [98vtgrad] also have a BHQ.

I have a J/B from Brent and it's as solid as can be. I was missing the control I had with a leather tip so I had him install a pressed black water buffalo. I'm making jumps I would normally miss due to crazy deflection or unpredictable massé. I can control my breaks MUCH easier now as well.

Who ??? :p

The fit and finish of my BHQ is perfect, a lovely cue. You are correct about Brents pricing ..... others I've spoken with have given him chit for selling too low. I didn't mind though

Dave <-- also thinks Brent should raise his prices a bit

am i the only one who finds it ironic, that a group, such as poolplayers,
who are known for being notoriously cheap,
can find ANYTHING PRICED TOO LOW
i saw a guy at the derby a few years ago B**** about a cup of coffee costing 50 cents

sev, dont forget about the MAYAN, i mean JOEYINCALI, prophecy

Technically the guy who was commenting is a cuebuilder .... and plays some game on a table with no pockets.

Back to topic... I do have 2 BHQs and they are posted here. Brent is a very nice guy and easy to deal with. Very nice cues he made for me 'coz I don't bother him. Try not to as well.

Brent's cues are Top Notch! My next Butterfly cue will definitely be built by him again! Soon I'll call ya again BHQ!

IMO if you are going to buy one of Brent's cues you REALLY need to check out his butterfly cues.

Very Nice.

got it

Well got the cue, after the 3 hours it took me to actually get it out of its bindings and bags and pipes and cardboard and plastic and whatever else (just kidding, was wrapped extremely well though) I was very happy with the fit and finish, very high end. then took it to the pool hall and was again very happy with it. Also let a few regulars hit with it and they were all astounded at the quality of the hit. A+ quality on the leather wrap work, shaft wood looks AAAA, lot of figure in the kingwood, dead straight roller, overall fantastic, would and have recommended BHQ to all.
