Big Foot 10 ball event at DCC

Jay Helfert posted as follows on 11/27:

It will be an elite sixteen player field this year once again. The format is $1,000 entry fee per player with $16,000 in added money for a total purse of $32,000. The winner will receive $16,000, Runner-up $8,000, and third-fourth $4,000 each. All matches are a Race to Eleven and it's Single elimination all the way. The Bigfoot Challenge will begin on Jan. 24 (Friday), the first day of Derby City, and end on Jan. 27 (Monday). ALL matches will be played in the Accu-Stats arena, streamed live online and recorded for later television viewing in selected markets.

Guess it's possible that the schedule has changed, but that's the best info I have.

I sent Jay a message to confirm but he hasn't replied. just want to know for sure becuz I dont wanna miss the finals of this event.

As SJM posted, Jay said it will start the first Friday, the 24th and will run for 4 days. The matches will all be on the TV table. From what Jay said, matches will run at 12, 3, 6, and 9 each day.

A sixteen man tournament single elimination will have 15 matches, so there will be four each day, and three on the final day (Monday). This means that the final day will be the two semi finals and the final.

This of course is all extrapolation from the original information. If anything changed I am not aware of it.
