that's okay. We all have a choice whether to view or ignore them.
I post frequently in NPR as I am very opinionated on many topics
and go to the MAIN when looking for substantive discussion on
Pool Related Issues. The Main (at times) closely reads like NPR
and that is counter-productive to it's mission.
Validation is something most of us desire and enjoy. To be part of
a larger functioning body of individuals can be fulfilling when we
"find" a place in such a group. It is basic to most humans.
John is a pain in the ass to deal with when he's in China and backlogged on orders.
But when you meet him in person and even before that, online, he really is passionate about his work.
He will help you out, he's helped out a lot of people in this same fashion. He's helped out people in a similar situation with NON JB cases.
What other casemaker has contributed as much to the cases for our cues? All of the innovations, all of the brands, all of the research into making the best cases?

John may be outspoken (which I applaud "most of the time" lol.) Anyway....he also talked very highly of his competition (sounds like Justice) lol.

John is one of the good guys... The trolls and Nits that attack him on a forum where they hide behind a screen name aren't worth pissing on if they are on fire and you have to step over them to get to the bathroom with a full bladder.....
John is passionate about the game and what he does regarding it.... He will not choose battles, he will fight them all...
Knowing this I will fight along side of him the whole way....
I would much rather ignore POSters like Dumb_Pooper and TheDAThaiger, but if you ever give them the last word you are giving them an inch... There will be no inches given...
Find me at any major tournament and I will be exaclty who I am here... I will likely piss you off on some points... agree with you on others and one of us will be buying the first round..... We may have to flip for it.....

I agree with your post. But those times when JB is wrong, it still should be pointed out. I tell my friends when they are wrong, we certainly should be able to tell JB when he's wrong, heck, most of us have never met him. But, yes, they should not be "troll posts" taking pot shots.
I've had my "run ins' with JB, but some how we still get along on the forum....
Put J.Flowers on it Dean and the value should jump to $4000 if you listen to some folks here.

Thanks Chris. You and many others who are smarter and wiser than me have told me to choose my battles much more carefully and fight those with much more tact. Its a struggle.
It is because of you and all the other GOOD people here that I don't leave like so many other good industry people have.

Yes when your a legend it commands premium money ,, keep at it another 20 yrs or so and even you might one day achieve the same status as a Flowers or a Justis
