Bigfoot Bracket

That Corey Mika match was ridiculously awesome. Corey played much of that match like it was a toy table. Not trying to overpower the 10 footer but just getting perfect on every ball and moving the cue ball as little as possible. Then all if a sudden Mika comes alive with his back against the wall and brought all of his firepower to bear with aggressive play and shot making. And then Corey makes a fantastic break and run out to win at the wire. Everything I love about this event in one match.

Sounds like an awesome match - I can't wait to watch it at some point. Does anyone know are the pockets on this 10-footer are standard Diamond tour cuts - 4-1/2" sides and 5" corners? Anything tighter than that on a 10-foot gets pretty brutal.

Not sure of the cut, but the pockets have been VERY forgiving so far. New cloth and balls are helping that, but I remember it playing a little tougher in the past. One of Corey's early 10 balls was way wide and bobbled in. Balls are sliding in having hit 1.5 diamonds out in some cases.

This is not a criticism, purely an observation. The matches so far have been absolutely fantastic!

Why did Morra decide to start playing lefty. Does he plan on going back righty anytime soon.

I think he was having neck/back problems because of the way he used the cue playing right handed and being left-eye dominant (I think).

I think Johnny Morra has already exceeded Cecil Tugwell status for switching hands.
....I think he is less than a ball off his right handed game....
...and he's going to get better.

He can hang with anybody with either hand.

That is DAMN IMPRESSIVE..totally UNREAL.

It is completely amazing that Morra can even make a match competitive playing left handed against top pros. I hope he can get to the same achievement level he did playing right handed- he was really playing great before he switched

Corey seems to have harnessed his urge to put on a show in favor of winning. Comes with age i suppose- Go Corey!

Jayson up 4-0 on konrad. Jayson shooting like it's a bar table and Konrad shooting like he's nervous at his first league match.
