What was the biggest bet on a game of pool that anyone has heard of? I have not seen many bets over a couple hundred dollars. I know some of you have probably seen a couple games where the stakes were high.

Earl vs. Efren Race to 100 for 100,000. I heard the score was 100-97Now i have really seen some action on the golf course.....

This has been covered before. There is a thread where Jay or Freddie tells the story of a fat cat going off for hundreds of thousands of jellybeans. Maybe over a mil. I can't remember.

I played my wife for beer last night...but I always buy the beer. ;) And the burgers as well. :D

I beat Archie while playing on the lemon and posing as a billionaire industrialist for $800,000. Toby played him right after I had "softened" him up.

Johnny Morrow beat a guy out of 70k AND his pool room. Johnny gave the pool room back because he said he didn't have a clue what to do with it.

I could not imagine playing for that type of money. I get butterflies on a 100.00 game.
BTW, I accepted your $50.00 bet on the UofL/WVU, you never responded. I get the spread, you get the butterflies. Cool?:D

I'm only 26 years old and been playing for only a couple of years so I haven't exactly seen a lot of things, but this past Friday night I seen a road player from Amarillo playing a guy for $1500. They were playing 15 ahead. Biggest I've personally ever seen. I thought that was pretty cool, I can't imagine seeing people play for what other posters have said much less playing for that much myself. Maybe if I wasn't a C player I would consider.
