1955 world championship in Philadelphia, Mosconi led Crane 146-23 and scratched on a break shot. Crane won the match 150 - 146 and the world championship.

Crane said he considered it his greatest accomplishment.

1984 - Steve Miz vs Pete Margo. NE States Chamionship, Gold Crown Billiards in New London Ct. Miz is coming out of the looser bracket and needs to win two games. Gets the first 150 - 124. In Game two Miz looses the lag, breaks and Margo runs 142 off the break. Miz runs 150 out to win the Championship. Greatest demonstration of 14.1 I ever witnessed.
