A warp detector isn't needed on Joss cues. When the butt alone will jump up and down when rolled on a table, you know it's warped. Sadly, Joss won't make good on it even if the cue is brand new. Buy something better. Step up to a Cuetec.

That is bad. Lol I found this at a sale and seems like nobody has ever seen this. Looks like something portable to purchase cues on the fly.

Yeah and IMO, it looks pretty cheesy...Some cheap casters and Rube Goldberg design/construction (looks like it uses some old car antennas).? I'm not surprised that it is on sale at a discount...I would pass.......

I am a pool cue inspector. Simply ship your cue to me and I will promptly inspect, evaluate, and perform performance tests on any new or used cues. You can PM me for shipping details, I look forward to inspecting your cues for you, thank you.

As weird as it looks it does the trick. Shows warped cues pretty accurate. I would never pay much for this but I got it because I have never seen one.

Good buy! I have purchased dozens of pool related items over the last decade for exactly the same reason.

Maybe a video of it in action sometime:D

Im completely speculating here, but my guess is that it came out of a cue factory. Probably set up with an indicator to see if the cues are in spec. Again, thats a guess, not sure.

Not needed. if your cue is warped bad enuff to see it by eye, you don't need the device to tell you what you already know.

If the cue is ever so slightly warped that you do need the device to show you, you are better off not knowing. You'll drive yourself nuts.
Besides, how would you know that the device is 100% on the money. It could also give you a false reading. Doesn't look like it is exactly a precision made instrument.

Beyond that, if you suspect a slight warp, have your repairman put it on his lathe with an indicator.

Crack, send me your Joss. I had 2 and couldn't shoot worth a crap with either. A warp like yours won't make a difference in my life.

I agree, the lack of precision parts mainly the wheels that themselves are probably far from perfectly round make it a goofy contraption.
