An old time greats grave.

Meanwhile, Ralph Greenleaf lay in an unmarked paupers grave for decades when even his wife would not claim his body. Of course, bad things do happen to drunken drug addicts.

You should also check out some of the pics wrldpro has on these forums, I think he said he restores headstones, and he's seen the final resting place of some of the greats. I think mosconi is actually in a vault somewhere.

Greenleaf is in a grave that was owned by his sisiter who proceded him in death. their graves are side by side in the Monmouth Il Cemetary 15 miles from my house. He died broke and she had a prepaid spot. Well after his death a few pool players pitched in with the help of a pool publication and got him a proper headstone.

It is amazing when you think about the correlation between Drug and alcohol addiction and pool. The conection between being Broke and being a pool player is also easy to follow.
