Anyone know of any billiard museums or exhibits? Not talking about private collections, not talking virtual. Thank ya'll for your replies.

It is important to remember what is important to you is not necessarily important to anyone else. The definition of 'anyone else' is distorted when dealing with concentrated groups of similarly appreciative persons...as in speaking about pool on a pool forum. So what will eventually happen with these private collections? Passed down? Parted out? Does pool even have a "legitimate" Hall of Fame with a physical facility, etc.? Over and over again, it occurs to me that too many corporations, and players, have failed to properly honor our sport and secure its place in history. I do not want to accept that this sport I love so much will always be relegated to the lower tiers, but this is the constant message I get from the current state of affairs. If we can't keep pool halls open, how would a museum fare? I do not like saying this, but I feel it needs to be said . . . I guess I should just be realistic, but it love and objectivity seldom mix well.
What do checkers players have that pool players don't?
You would have a hard time finding a room with more history on the walls than Antique Billiard Museum in Colorado springs. Its been years since I was there but Raytown rec had vintage pics and what not on the walls also.Which poolrooms display the most memorabilia and history?
I have a moderately sized collection of vintage cues, mostly Brunswicks. Not many of my cues are worth much or hard to find but the collection continues to grow. It is getting time that I take a picture of them and post it here.So what will eventually happen with these private collections? Passed down? Parted out?
