They've been around a while. They show matches from all kinds of different tournaments.

You pay for the convenience. My package includes lots of other sporting channels of which I watch personally very little. Some like it. Some don't. Reruns are prevalent. I'm retired and watch a LOT of it, even the reruns. Helps ease stresses of the day at the click of a button. It offers various current tournaments (not many) both past and present, instruction, trick shots etc.

I just learned about Billiard TV last month (quick aside, it's based in Cheshire, CT). Apparently it is included as a free channel on every Samsung smart TV. I have been putting it on for background noise during my practice sessions. Very cool!

On Samsung TV it's channel 1186,I watch a lot.

Does this happen to anyone else while using the Samsung Billiard TV Channel, where the description is not what is on the tv? Very annoying. Any idea why this is? I live in Oregon and my friend who lives a few hours from me, says he has the same problem. Also, I don't recall this being a problem a few months ago. I could see what was coming up and it matched when it aired. Maybe I will try Roku and see if that is more accurate. Ideas? Thanks. Brian

We don't pay a thing for it. Have a Samsung smart tv and with internet connected, you can bring it up any time you want, you can also bring up a ton of billiard tv stuff on youtube. Sometimes current matches as they are happening.
Yes the break music is incredibly annoying.
