the guy in the first picture is looking at the photographer like he's trying to decide how many packs of cigarettes and jugs of toilet wine he'd be worth in a trade

man i would love to live in a 3rd world country, i did for 6 months when I was a kid, I almost moved to Mexico in 96, Life is so easy and slow, I was spending a month or 2 a year in Africa my last year there was 06, right now Zimbabwe is in political tourmoil, but on the square I look at those pics and it looks so appealing to me, warm weather, no headaches, sign me up.

a man told me why they are soo happy! is because the more you have the more you have to lose! and if you just have enough food for today , tommorow is just a meal away!!!!! and these people
work foraprox 12.00 us dollars a week and work 12 hrs a day to feed ther familys. and the cost of bread milk and gas is the same as here in the states!

An out door pool hall and the prisoners appear to be well fed.Clearly there is no corruption in the Honduran prison system.Beads are even available for keeping score during a friendly game.

My instructor, Tony Sorto, is from Honduras, and he showed me the game.
Here's a video which shows me running through the 9 ball.
I have yet to clear the table, but I have seen Tony do it.

Here's the video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PI7Kapg8Gw

Enjoy!

Wonder if they play in the prision the game "drop the el soapo" aka drop the soap a popular shower game in american prisons? Pool is a wonderful game, but being inside a prison sucks.

Dont' think we are like to see Pool in American Prisons, as the Balls, & Cue butts could, and would be used as weapons

The game is Rotation, first one to get 61 points wins. You rack the balls in order along the diamonds, except the one ball starts on the spot. It's a very tough game!
