Has anyone used Billiards Warehouse to order a cue? If so, were you satisfied with their service? I am thinking of using them at the end of the summer.

Thanx ahead of time for your response.

They're very good.

Chris

Very good service

I have only ordered twice from them but I received nothing but excellent service both times.

Have ordered from Billiard Warehouse several times. Greg has always given me top notch service.

Purchases amounted to around $3000. Bought a cue from him that he recommended that had a wooden pin (billiard cue). The female threads stripped out after a few months. I told him what happened and he basically said tough. Have not made any purchases from him since. The cue cost about $160. His bad PR made him lose my business and recommendations.

had good success with the Billiards Warehouse and Seyberts. Also, Platinum Billiards is good too. not sure if the others do, but Shane down at P.B. allowed me to return my Joss Cue that i didnt like for a 90% refund, and ordered a Pechauer Cue.

they are good to work with, usually responsive to your wants, and return emails promptly. might give P.B. a look.

I bought a cue from them. Had a bad blemish in wood
but when I went back & looked they showed blemish
in their picture although they never mentioned it.
Stick is maybe best hitting stick I have though so
I'm pretty satisfied. ( Dominiak)

Kollegedave,
If you are serious in purchasing a cue, I would like to offer you my services. Although, Im not a big outfit like Billiards Warehouse, I can beat all of their prices in cues.. thus saving you a lot of money. Check out my website below. I only stock cues that sell well for me. But that doesnt mean that I cant get other cues either... I have lots of sources I can tap to get cues. Please feel free to contact me at dooziexx@yahoo.com if you have questions. Ive sold many cues to other AZ'ers here.
Thanks,
Erik

Greg is a fair guy. I've had several dealings with him in the past and I've been satisfied every time. As far as the female threads of your cue stripping, unless Greg made the cue, it isn't his problem. When there is a problem with the construction of the cue, you have to take it up with the cue maker and NOT the dealer who sold it to you.

Fellas, thanx for the response. I feel pretty comfortable ordering from them now. Erik, before I make any decision on where I might purchase a cue (if I do purchase one) I will drop you an e-mail and we can if something can be worked out.

Billiards Warehouse is one of the few web sites which allows you to choose the cue options the manufacturer offers. ("Hint" to other billiards web site operators if you want to increase your business.)

Many cue manufacturers offer all sorts of options like tip brand, shaft size, joint type, etc. Yet most billiard web sites will only let you choose the weight of the cue!

Here is an example of all the different cue options you can choose. Scroll down to custom options as well...

Warehouse ...

I originally bought my Porper 4 x 8 Burgandy cue case through them.
Good service, fast, and I was pleased with them.

I do not recall this situation; however, it has been bothering me all day. I do not recall ever having that kind of attitude with a customer under any circumstance. I do not remember if this was a warantee issue or not. Usually a defect in a cue would be something that would go through the manufacturer; however, I would generally assist the customer in making a claim with a given manufacturer. I would like the opportunity to make things right and re-earn your business.

Yours truly
