Billy Thorpe

He's on his way.

I would have to agree I've known Billy since he was about 12 yrs old when I was just starting to play pool good kid with a good attitude with a ton of talent and fearless for sure but which one of us wasn't fearless at 20 but he has the nerves of steel to go with it keep sharp shooting them Champs billy and have alot of fun why your at it that's what it's all about

Your right about everybody being 20 and fearless, but he has a reason to be fearless, he CAN REALLY PLAY!!

Josh aint 20, but most guys are still fearless at his 30 too..., well those with his talent!

Add Billy and Josh Roberts and we probroly win, we need a fresh prospective. They are both fearless and talented and they both have good attitudes.

A contrarian view but may work cos of element of surprise-
Drain the Swamp-throw out SVB, MD, RM

"The Other Guys" team will be
JB
Skyler
Billy Thorpe
Josh Roberts
Pinegar or Oscar

Such a team will have nothing to lose .
Team Euro never knew what hit them. :)

The energy alone might take them over the top! But we might have to keep Shane?

Billy is a superstar, he played flawlessly when he came to elizabeth city nc last month, I mean he put on a clinic. Aside from that, he was great to our spectators, taking time out to talk with them and letting them get their pictures taken with him. We really enjoyed having him.

Watched this kid play at the U.S. Open Bar Table events in Vegas this past Summer and was very impressed with how he handled himself. I think he made top five in all three events against very strong fields.

Talking with him later, he reminded me of a young Johnny Archer, hungry to win a big one. I told him he would win MANY big ones, just to be patient. Johnny had a problem winning at the same age but once he did there was no stopping him.

Billy is the first American player I've seen in years who has a real chance to surpass Shane as the U.S.A number one. It may not be this year or next but Shane is already looking over his shoulder. :)

Has a legit chance of going down as one of the greatest pool players of all time, so long as the ceiling remains high.
