The picture of Cliff in the electric chair watching Mike down on the table at the Derby would be a nice one. It is one of my favorites.
Thank you,
Nick :
I'll see if I can find that one!

JAM,
Non tourist images of Biloxi might be hard to come by and they are usually too bright and breezy for your purposes. I don't think you want to get too somber or focus on religious images either although one smallish one might be fine. I can't access them on this new Vista machine at the moment but I have hundreds of images from the gulf coast including Biloxi. The real catch is that I'm not sure where most were shot and the computer to extract them from is in storage at the moment until I finish my shop. No help at the moment but if copyright becomes an issue my photo's are available later, obviously at no charge for this project. I'll check again today and if I can figure out a way to view them on this Vista machine I'll try to find a few for your consideration now just to bypass any possible copyright issues.
I have several pre Katrina shots of that lighthouse and mansion as one example. I seem to remember the mansion being badly damaged or totally destroyed but I don't remember which and could be mistaken about either. I didn't have the heart to take many pictures of the damage after Katrina and I didn't want to seem like an insensitive tourist regardless.

I did come across some Katrina shots of Biloxi. It was quite sad to see for sure.
You're right about the tourism and upbeat shots. Those would not serve well for this purpose.
What about pages? Do I need more than one page?
Okay, gang. I'm playing hooky from a job due today. The client will have to wait. Actually, he's not in a hurry for it, so that gives me a little wiggle room to work on this website.
I spoke to several website authorities, and though I liked what Craig Fales said about the dot-info, I was told that the dot-com would be more searchable and easier for folks to remember.
I am going to go with MikeSurber.com. I really love the name "Biloxi Mike," but I want the public to recognize that Mike Surber is a real person. The forum here seems to be in favor of the plain MikeSurber-dot-com name. So I hope y'all will support this for now. :thumbup2:
Now comes the design phase of the website. I have up to five pages, but I am only going to work with one page for now. I hope you all will help me tweak it as far as tastefulness and content as I go along. Remember, I'm not a website guru, but I know enough to get it going.
I am open to all suggestions.
Together, let us all seek justice for Mike Surber.
You can start a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mike's murderer. I'm in for $50 ( make that $55, since this is my 5555th post ), just let me know when and where to send.
Hey JAM this is a great idea. I would suggest registering all the options since it's cheap. .org, .com .info can all be used and forwaraded to the domain you decide on. I like MikeSurber.com and BiloxiMike.com but maybe something like findemikesurberskiller.com or justiceformikesurber.com might get a little more "attention" either way, Myself and Im sure many others will happily contribute to the registration costs and a reward (I'm in for 50 too). Just let us know what you need
John
Please look at the website and give me some feedback: http://www.MikeSurber.com
There is a better picture than this although it is a smaller picture, the detail looks better. It was published on the INternet. I'll see if I can find the link. The up close picture on your web site shows the earrings but it is grainy. I think you should add the less grainy picture as well.
Joey
I know which picture you mean. That is a great idea.
Check it out now. I got both up there: http://www.MikeSurber.com
When I have time, I am going to add a couple more pages. One will be about Mike Surber's life, a memorial and tribute. Another page will be about the "person of interest."
Can you think of anything else that I should include?
