Has anyone got a source of the black cotton based ferrules that Atlas used to sell? (hole all the way thru) I bought 10 of them 7 years ago and used the last one today.
Now I can not find them anywhere I've looked.
I dont see the white cotton based ones either but I still have a few of them.

Willie I believe you are speaking of the old fiber based ferrules. The company that made them is out of business. I have 7 of the black ones I won't need if you'd like them...I have some of the white as well. Atlas also sells a double black linen phenolic ferrule rod that while not as bulletproof as the canvas resin...makes a nice blk ferrule. The blk canvas resin makes an indestructable ferrule...but the canvas weave is very visable. They also have blk PVC rod that makes a nice softer hitting ferrule as well...plays very similar to the old fiber material. Hope this helps sir.:)

Willie, you can also use the black Phenolic material used for Jump Break Ferrules. Cut it to length, drill a hole through it and you are set. It glues up well, and it is dam near indestructible.
