Into the BCA hall of fame. She just announced it on her official Facebook page.

Congrats, Ms.Lee.

She is a class act that has brought pool to a much higher level. Not only being a very good pool player, Ms. Lee is a refreshing visual in a group of: You name the descriptions of ranking men and women players????

Congratulation to Jeanette Lee.

The BCA Hall of Fame Induction is certainly earned & deserved.

Congrats Jeanette. You were a shoe in for your play, what you have done for the game, and what others have learned from you about marketing yourself. Johnnyt

I wonder why it took so long? She is probably the #1 recognized pool player anywhere, has been in more ads than any 4 other players combined and was actually a top woman player instead of just a pretty face like some.

If you play good, some pool newbie will invariably ask you if you can beat Jeanett or they call you "Fats". If you ask them how many Efren matches they have seen, it would be similar to asking them the name of the parking attendant working at 12 Main St in Boston if they lived in Chicago.

I met Jeanette Lee, along with several other professional players back at Amsterdam Billiards in 1990. Looking back, I couldn't have predicted how things would have turned out for many of us except maybe Jeanette. She showed more game at 19 than many devoted players will ever show. She was running 100s routinely, beating every woman in NYC and all but the best men. It's my opinion, had it not been for her medical condition, she would have been regarded as the best female player in US history, possibly world history.

The 90s were an amazing time that I look back on fondly. I miss seeing Johnny Ervolino, Abe Rosen, Ginky, Jack Calivito, Gene Nagy and Cicero Murphy. But, when Jeanette plays, I can see a little bit of each of them in her game. Congratulations to Jeanette on the BCA Hall of Fame induction. They should be honored to have her.

I wonder why it took so long? .

She was only eligible after she turned 40, so last year was her first year of eligibility.

In order for her to have gotten in her first year, she needed at least 75% of the voters. I'm not sure why she didn't get them. I would have thought she was a shoe in for a first-balloter, but hey... she's in now.

Cool, I think she deserves it. She has done more for this game than most people know. Class act all the way.

I ran into Miss Lee at the 2005 DCC, literally. We were rounding a corner near the TV table and almost collided. What a lovely lady.
Congratulations on your upcoming induction.

Congrats, Ms.Lee. I hope the BCA Include her 3Cushion Billiards accomplishment in her records. Well rounded female player in all billiards/pools event.

She deserves it for sure

Jeanette Lee is a great player and a great representative for professional pool and no one deserves it more. Her husband George Breedlove is a great player too and also a terrific person, God Bless them both !

Maybe the questionable people she hangs around with, or the "action" matches she is in where she puts on more disgusting moves than my cousin Roybob when he's been noodling for a few hours, possibly her attitude.

Of course there are people who meet someone on a bad day and they are mistreated, but there are far too many posts about her diva attitude, and way she has treated lots of people, repeatedly, not one day when she was having a bad day.
