My inspiration for the gambler theme for the show was Wild Bill Hickok. I worked with Crystal Herbert for the scrimshaw. The joint protector and butt cap are 45-70 brass cases that I took the head stamp off of and engraved the Blackcreek 2012

Travis, great cue and theme. That's some of the best work I've seen
from Crystal.

That is so (expletive) awesome. And the matching case already exists....

You guys really stepped up to the plate on these Gambler cues. I really hope that we can someday get a clear shot of the whole collection. I am so bummed that I didn't make it to the show.

Travis just a beautiful cue all the way around!
Love the Aces And Eights, and the Scrimshaw is sweet!
Thank you for sharing!

travis what a beauty....i like eveything about it....keep up the great work

Travis,

Your Gambler Cue at the ICCS was a particularly nice cue, and looked great in my hands. As you know, I know the buyer and he is thrilled with the acquisition.

It should be said all of your cues looked good at the ICCS, and it is nice to have you as an exhibitor each year. Your cues are known worldwide for their superb playability.

Wow wow wow!! That should be considered a fancy cue huh??
I'm usually not one for full on ivory cues but this one's pretty spectacular. Great use of an exotic "canvas".
The brass case used on the cue is my favorite detail, absolutely love it!

Like what John mentioned, would be nice if we get to see all the gambler themed cues...saw some sneak peeks and they look wicked. Anyone care to share?

Congrats on being an ICCS exhibiting cuemaker. Not all cuemakers that submit a cue are chosen to exhibit, so that speaks volumes of what the top collectors in the world think of your work.

What I especially like about this cue is the bullet casings used in the butt cap treatment and joint protectors. Such a great touch to compliment a true old west gambler theme. Keep up the great work my friend!
