I got my copy today. Thanks Brad! Great work!

Lucky you!!! I have one coming to me. How did Brad ship it to you - USPS or UPS? My mail always takes a day or so long then you would think it should. Once the mail hits the big city down the road it just sort of hangs out there - sometimes its a week from Phoenix to here. But if he shipped it UPS maybe I will get it tomorrow.

I got two today. They came from Blue Book Inc shipped UPS media mail. It is really well done and I am suprised at all the cuemakers that I have never heard of. Also has pictures of many of the cuemakers which is kind of nice to be able to see who builds the cues. Long wait but quite well done. IMO

I'm still waiting for my copy. Can any of you guys tell me if there are any color pics of Paul Fanelli's cues in the new book? If so, please tell me what cues are on there. Thanks!

Your cue is on the Fanelli pic, main section...

A friend of mine got his copy the other day. The glue in the binding was/is defective as it fell apart. Not a good sign. I suggest to do a standard "new book warm up" on the glue before going wild on it.

Fred

I can see how that would happen

I can see how that could happen. It is a large book. I used to work at a print shop and did some bookbinding. I used to take used books that were glued and make covers for them- glue was tough and it split alot- esp. when I did thick hardback covers for them.

I have been pretty gentle with mine- I don't rough up the spines of alot of my books- esp. since BB1 and BB2 seem have gone up in value. Makes me wish I had saved all those Mueller catalogs- it is neat to see some of the photos.

I have always wanted to see one of the old 90s Joss cues with the word Joss in it. I remember seeing photos of that cue all the time in the magazines.

Is it true that the next article in print is Edwin Reyes?

THE LADY I TALKED TO AT BLUEBOOKINC TOLD ME THE CD WASN'T READY YET. I HAD ASKED BECAUSE I GOT THE ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION AS WELL AS THE BOOK, BUT ONLINE IS STILL BB2. SHE SAID THE CD AND THE ONLINE VERSION WOULD BE READY IN A FEW WEEKS.

My friend's father who is still in teh bookbinding and printing field thinks this shouldn't have happened. I know nothing of it, but the overall size did leave me wondering.

LOL!!! If you wish you had save the Mueller's Catalogs, think how I feel about the Cornhusker Billiard Supply Catalogs! (For those that don't know, Cornhusker was Mueller's previous name).

It is true. And I received my copy of InsidePOOL a couple of days ago.

My bluebook fell apart the minute I opened it. All the colored pages came out. I am going to send the company and email regarding the issue.

Lol

You are right about that Fred! I used to get the Cornhusker catalogs- I ordered one of the sneakies with the mcdermott pin for $79. I wish I had kept them all- some of the books and products that are now long since gone. I always wanted a copy of The Hustler's Handbook- for some reason.

I just got my IP today. Great article! Nice photos- did not know he had a CNC now. You can be a bad influence- I have a Madden coming, ER, and I bought a Nitti!

Right on! Well, at least I can say that I used to own that cue. :) I will certainly be happier once the wait is over on my new one...I miss having a quality cue in my hands.

Take care!

I got mine from cuebook.com today personalized. The other two I ordered (earlier) from Blue Book publications are no-shows so far.

I think it's by far the best Blue Book yet as far as ID and reference guidelines. People should take the prices with a big grain of salt. Some too low, some too high, some just right, but from what I've seen so far, pretty reasonable estimates on the cues I'm familiar with.

Some inaccuracies were repeated from the previous book. However, the cue photos are much better on high quality paper.

Lots of new cues, much bigger. Like someone once said " This is da NUTS!"Chris
