Had the guys at Mueller put on this Stack leather wrap. Did a great job and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting one done.

nice..

That Is Amazing!!! I Need To Get A Stack Wrap Done, Very Impressive Work!!

Wrap

Thanks. The guys at Muellers actually recommended the color selection, I think it worked out very well.

I had the people at Meuller do some work on my pre dot Meucci shaft. I'd recommend them. They did an excellent job with that wrap I'd say color wise!!

ranger, why in the world would you let mueller touch a bluegrass cue?? that's like taking a ferrari to jiffy lube or wiping your'e butt then taking a poop,it just doesn't make sense.

Hate to hijack

but before I knew anything, I sent a bludworth cue to be refinished by Viking (had difficulty at the time getting in contact with him and didnt know anywhere else to go), and they really did a horrible job, didnt even refinish/recondition the shafts, charged me 150 dollars (this was about 4 years ago) and refused to make it right.

Understandable response...

The guys did a terrific job, no worries here. The only worry I'd have is if I were going to try and sell it. Since I'll be keeping this cue, having someone put a wrap on is really no big deal.

Now, why would you say something like that? I do a lot more overhauls than oil changes.....

Back it up

You have something to substantiate your trash talking?

I'd like to hear your reasoning behind this. Ryan is very good and what he does. I love the cue he built and would recommend him to anyone needing cue repair.

jhendri i never meant to imply ryan did substandard work if i had a production cue i would not hesitate to send it to mueller, however if i had a custom cue that you can't place an order for and people were waiting upwords of seven years to receive then that cuemaker would be the only one who i would allow to work on the cue so i would not hurt the value of the cue.

The way your previous post was worded certainly implied that Mueller's did substandard work. I would send nearly any cue to Ryan to work on, with the exception of very few cuemakers. The cue's he's building, the quality he is constantly putting out, and the shear number of resources available to him BECAUSE he works for Mueller's, may make him arguably the best in the business for cue repair. I've never heard one complaint about him from people who have USED his service.

Before you start bad mouthing one of our long time members and contributors to this forum you may want to get all of your facts and actually have some experience with the service. You've been here a month and have all of 8 posts and one of them is this, your time will be short here.

Nice stack

Really nice work. That wrap really sets of the whole cue and makes it that much more unique. I've heard nothing but good things about Ryan's work. Seeing is proof positive.

what was the turn-around time for a stack leather wrap at Muellers?

I try to do leather once a week so that puts me at around 7 to 10 days.
