Anyone can argue. The trick is in winning in the fewest words and with the fewest facts.

Maybe I missed it, but I've never seen Blackjack lose an argument. Honest, fair, straightforward and tells it like it is!
:p

I've had a lot of practice with my ex-wives.

Argument

I guess we could argue about the meaning of "argument." In the best sense, I'd say "argument" means a reasoned defense of one's view, or a thoughtful analysis of an issue, carried out with due respect to the views of others. In my short time on this board, I've seen a number of good "arguers." Andrew Manning's posts come to mind as one good example.

argue or make arguments - i'd say the best contenders of the latter are on this page right above this post.

When you win an arguement with your wife the arguement is not over...

LOL, my wife often "loses" her glasses which she stores imbedded in her hair when not in use. I've helped her find them often.:)

Same woman hasn't forgotten that night in 81 when I got a tuna salad sandwich on the way home....

But there is a poster who can prove...geometrically...that arguments cannot be made. If fact, he would assert that no one here actually argues...we only think we argue.

Made an agreement with my wife when we first got married that if we were going to argue, we both had to be buck naked.

Didn't have an argument the first three years we were married. LOL

But like they say, you don't have to be married more than once to realize that once was once too many!

Agreed... I've only been married a short time, but once is definitely enough. :D

Sounds to me like you can't get him off your mind. Why not just ask him out and get it over with?

Thank you very much, nola22, I take that as quite a generous compliment.

For my vote, I don't see mikepage get proven wrong much. He seems to be on the right side of pretty much all the arguments he enters here in my view. He also keeps his arguments from becoming attacks, which is so important on the internet, since the argument gets lost in the crossfire sometimes when the mud-slinging starts.

I like it when Manwon Sticks his head out (from the nortah') he seems to be clear on 'matters', and gets to its point.
