1. I got called away to help during Ulchi Freedom Guardian and got roped in to help out during the Asian Games. Not anything I will/can discuss which I'm sure you will understand.
2. The above happened right as I was in the process of selling my business and helping the new owner via demonstration performance training. Lot$ on the line for "the new guy" and I couldn't, in good faith, just say "here it is" and walk away. The above took me away unexpectedly and I had to get right back into it immediately upon return. By this time he was way behind the power curve and drowning. I worked with him "for some time" 16 hour days and got things right.
3. I had to move out of my home-away-from-home (the apartment I was renting where my business was [Pullman]) ... had issues with the landlord that had to be taken care of before leaving town which was way more time consuming then what it should of been.
4. Built our retirement home and took care of all the landscaping etc., etc. while selling off our other home. Lots of garage sales and trips to the Salvation Army, finding people of need to pass things along that we no longer needed, and hauling as much as we could to our new home to save moving costs.
5. Helped my son, both physically and financially, buy some businesses -- lots of time spent there.
6. Two more grandkids were born, one in the middle and another in the end of all this, and Grandpa can't miss that!
7. Then there is some health issues which I'd rather not air or discuss.
8. As life would have it, there were lots of other things during and in between that Murphy's Law always seems to bring about. I owned this new home over a year before I could actually live here myself. Once I moved in I started noticing "slack work" (and lots of it) that had been done by various contractors/sub-contractors requiring my time/attention/pocket book.
9. There's more; but, the bottom line is -- I had "stuff" to do and being online would not let that happen.
Thanks for your concern. Do to #7, along with the aforementioned "there's more", don't expect me to do as much as I once did ... perhaps on down the line maybe??
