Have you played?

I went to Danny K's last night and played in a Bobble Ball tournament, so much fun!!! I still know my angles :) I won ;)

There are 2 ways to play I've only seen 1 way and that's without a pool cue.
Mike Massey and some of the other players tried it in Valley Forge with a pool cue...not sure about how that is played. But I will learn in Vegas stop by and check it out.

It's tough cuz you have to go out of your way to buy the egg-ball. I wish there were a way to do it with standard equipment but I get why they use the special ball... it doesn't roll away as easily as a spherical one would. I'd like to see a pool hall owner buy one and make it available for rent.

Had a great time playing it at Valley Forge. Enjoyed watching Mike Massey play Steve Lillis and Steve won. Also enjoyed watching Tommy Kennedy play it and had a ball. What a great way for everyone in the family to play together! Little ones can now play on the table with mom and dad. They weren't tall enough yet to play pool but now tall enough to roll the ball. Now they can learn the angles to hitting other balls. Great learning experience for all! If you plan on going out to vegas this year stop at Robin's booth and give it a try!

Looks fun. Sort of toned down finger pool for all ages. Good for seeing natural angles. Croquet/curling/safety play/breakouts/speed control-looks like a great game.

Good luck to the inventors-they appear to be a great family oriented couple.

Reminds me of that proposition bet where you roll 3rails at a ball on the spot and keep moving it till it pockets in the corner. That could get interesting with the bobble ball on the spot. Hmmmm

Very true, I played in the tournament understanding angles, that really helped and made it fun to see if I could get there without a cue. Getting the hang of using the feel of your hands was tricky. But I got it...not quite like Mike Massey of course lol.

Mike played it another way with a pool cue in Valley Forge I only heard about it I never seen it played that way, anyone seen it played that way?
