look foward to seeing you, you awalys have season tickets to my house. I only saw a couple old pics, and honestly It's been a while and I dont remember them well. I know you were in one pic I saw, most were pics of Richard A. Most of the pics in his book I believe are comming from Bill porter and Mike Haines collection of pictures.
I havent spoke to Cotton in the past couple days which is unusal, I will call him today. They are making a slight change to the cover of the book. Listen to this, this how much of a perfectionest Bobby is, he sends out to his friends the cover of the book for feed back, it looked GREAT to me, absolutly perfect it fits the title sets the mood up and tone of the book for the "Life" that's lived in the pages of the book. I thought it was perfect, Mike Massey calls me and we were talking for an hour about 10 diferent things when he asked me about the cover, I replied to Mike what I just said above. Mike said "Its not quit right", Huh???" I said. Mike continued on "Well the road is too straight and flat, the contour of the pavement dosent match the landscape, it needs to flow with the land, I'm a artist and notice these details". WOW!! I looked Mike is right, I dont know if they have been printed but he said he was going to fix it or Cotton was gona get it fixed. I'm not sure how thats going down, but man I was amazed that caught Mikes attention, its clear to me now. The whole point is this book is being done right not rushed to the press for a fast buck. Cotton is very proud of this-rightfully so and dosent want skimp on his lifes story, it took 40 years for the events to happen, why go on the cheap or rush it at end? He is a perfectionest and has surrounded himself with the very best to write/produce this book. Man I cant wait to read it. I'm real proud of him too he has worked so hard on this, I hope Mars(poolhall junkies) will want to make a movie based on this book. That would be the best!!
