I have owned two of his cues. One of my biggest mistakes in life was selling my first:( I have a new one now and it plays wonderfully. He is a great guy to do business with.

Bobby brought a high end cue to my booth at the derby and it was incredible!!!

The purpose of this forum is for honest discussion.
I will most likely get some hate mail for this,
nevertheless:

I met Bobby at the 2005 BCA in Las Vegas. I saw a few of his cues, and the fit, finish,
and playability are very impressive. I gave him $500.00 as a deposit on a 3K cue.

I had learned afterward that the re-sale on his cues, right or wrong is quite similiar to Bill McDaniels
and other very talented cuemakers who for whatever reason have greatly diminished resale value.

I cancelled my order with Bobby, and told him to keep the $500.00 for his trouble.
It was the right thing to do.

I have to disagree with you. My first cue I purchased for just under $1,100 in 1997. I sold it in 1999 for $750 (I was very naive). The guy I sold it to re-sold it the next month for a large profit. I only asked for $750 so I don't feel like I was cheated by anyone. If I want my original cue back it will cost me about $1,700 now! USED! For whatever reason you think the resale value is bad, I reccomend you investigate it a little further. This next one will not be so cheap if I do decide to sell it, which is unlikely.

Well, well. I discussed briefly with Bobby about getting one of his cues and he told me when I was ready to get a fancier cue from him, he would take the value I paid for the cue minus usability of the cue toward a fancier cue. His cues are always expensive and the resale value is very high. Can you tell me how many cues from Bobby have you seen for sale on AZ?
Thanks for the answer! That is exactly what I mean!

I'm happy you have these success stories.
I just watched a friend of mine try to sell
a BH cue on ebay 3 times in the past year
for 2k that he owned at 2.5K and it went
no-bid all 3 times.

He just sold it for 1.5K, and was
happy to take his loss. He is fairly
well known from Hard Times in Sac
to Dr. Cues in Seattle.

Nice examples of Bobby's work..... Gorgeous!

I know where one like your first one is, but it's ebony , with silver cut points and ivory spearheads or whatever they are. The Ak-47 cue that one of my friends is selling.

His website is out of date, but huntercues.com has his contact emails and some of his cues shown. Although he can be reached at (775)450-2607
