Because we here at AZ have already been shot down as insignificant to it's success yet we are the only one's talking about it or watching it. There's a reality gap here folks. And that's the reality of it.

Edit: in case I was unclear, this will not change with BB in it's present form.
Kind of get where you are coming from.
Here's the thing, though. Let us accept tht, As Nathan indicates,Bonus Ball is not for the pool die-hard fans and players but for a different market.
Truth is that, to me, it seems to have been designed for the pool die-hard. From my vantage point, it has numerous elements of 14.1, quite a bit of one pocket strategy, and bank shots are quite important. Unlike snooker, your turn can begin on any color on the table and you can combo one color into another in some instances, so I don't think the snooker fans will much relate to it.
It's a challenging, difficult game and a lot of the shots require a keen understanding of pool to appreciate. It is really hard to imagine anyone but a die-hard pool fan or player truly appreciating this game and its nuances.
Hope I'm wrong and that the WPBL takes off and can be sold to TV. Good luck to all concerned.
