Bonus Ball Playoffs Has Made It To ESPN (Link Included)

Those are the dates and times it's actually being played...

Those are the right dates and times, which means it's going to be airing live...

Does anyone remember the last time pool aired live on a sports network in the US????

Lol nope, that's why I was so excited when I saw it, and it wasn't even mentioned anywhere else, which is surprising, not even on the WPBL website.

As a spectator bonus ball isn't all bad once you get used to the rules. I would think it must be hard for the people playing the game to get in rhythm after sitting so long to shoot one shot then sit again.

Well, that could be to get more ppv orders...

They might be trying to get more ppv orders that they may not be able to get if they advertised that the semi's and finals would be free on ESPN (LIVE).

Live is so much better than after the fact...

Anyone who still bashes Bonus Ball please state the following....

"I will have more patience and give the game time to grow.
I understand that any business venture takes time,
and it is smart for owners to exhibit that same patience so as
to ensure proper business decisions for the betterment of Bonus Ball and to
improve (and diversify) the industry as a whole."

Thank you.

is Bonus Ball going to make these announcements?
or are AZBers their free PR?

.

Hopfully they will act professional they have to dress a certain way which looks nice because of their respective team attire. . And behave and show a good representation of Pool . Good Luck

Is ESPN 3 really ESPN?

ESPN 3 is like buying a concert shirt outside the venue for $5. I want the $40 shirt.

Yes. I have Time Warner Cable and it's one of my channels, so it's not only viewable on the computer. I watched the WPBA matches last month on my TV on ESPN.

Or recite after me....

"I don't give a rats ass and won't be watching it. I also vow to horse laugh anyone I know personally who tunes in and then tries to discuss it in public"

ESPN3 Showed the Mosconi cup in 2012 and it couldn't get picked up this past year... If the Mosconi Cup couldn't get the numbers then the only chance in hell that BB gets picked up is if it snows 14 feet that weekend and all the Canadians stop when they see the hokey err hockey jerseys and forget to change the channel....

Pretty sure Matchroom and Sky were paid nothing for the programming in 2012 so BB will be getting a big fat portion of nothing as well... ESPN is just taking a look because it's new... Even trickshots made espn2.... The Titanic continued to float for 2 hours and 40 minutes after striking the iceburg.... And IT was actually designed by people who knew what they were doing..... BB is 2 hours and 39 minutes into the post collision countdown.....

Thanks for the heads up. Although I personally found myself quite bored with BB after about a month or so of watching and playing it (following all of the new polished hype), I always enjoy watching skillful and competitive shot-making. So I'll still be viewing it... if I don't have to clean out the cat's litter box or something else more important. Wait a minute... I don't even have a cat...

Why in the hell do I have a litter box and why am I always thinking about cleaning it when I hear anyone talking about BB?

There is so little of "live" billiards action (without PPV) to tune into these days that I'll watch just about anything if I'm not shooting (and it doesn't cost me anything to view it).
Thanks again for the heads up on the dates and times!!!

This is good news. Congrats, BB!

Whatever your opinion is of ESPN3 or BB, the fact is that this will broaden the reach to audiences. ESPN3 is not only available online but also exists as apps on Android and iOS devices, not to mention on streaming boxes like Roku.
