LOL LOL it won't be! I dry fit all my components and lay out in order before glueing but I still get a ring out of place every now and again. No biggie, cut it off and replace it.
On the cue I just finished, I'm using an alt. ivory joint. I have used the wrong color/shade collar twice now, this is on the shaft side. Third time, I got the correct one, then realized after finish/buffing it, that the thin black ring at the top was twice the size of the ring on the butt side of the joint. So now turn #4(the final, I hope) is coming this weekend. Some days, It just don't pay to get out of bed.:frown:
