I know the consensus seems to be that Samsara makes the best leather break tip. Is it worth upgrading a phenolic tip on a new Posion J/B to a Samsara? I don't play in a league where phenolic is banned, so that wouldn't factor in. I think Seyberts charges like 15.95 to do the upgrade (which is half the price it would be to do it after market). Obviously phenolic breaks the hardest, but is the Samsara is worth the switch.

I went from phenolic to the samsara and love it. Lot more control... BTW your are posting in the wrong place;) Ask the cuemaker or the main forum

Apparently people who

complain about me not reading posting rules, don't take the time to read my first response where I state it was an accident and tried to move the thread. God forbidden one post clutters their BB spam.

On a related topic, when someone posts something in the main discussion forum, or on cue reviews there always is some vulture trying to sell something that was completely unsolicited. If I want to buy something you will see a WTB: title to my post, as will the other people looking for advice. I'm all for commerce, but it cuts both ways.

Since you're asking about a J/B... you will most likely notice a drop in jumping effectiveness but you will overcome that in time.

I'm with you on this one: Hard Water Buffalo on my Break stick, gives me a lot of control with a hard hit, Phenolic on my Jump cue, jumps like a jack rabbit!

GREAT COMBINATION.
