Struck 3 differant ways. Surprised that extreme lefthand english yielded the best results. Running enlish left cb under rack. Extreme righthand english gave up a good shot but didnt scatter the rack.

Out of curiosity, which ball in the back of the rack did you make contact with on the best result ?

As you might expect 6/7 was better then 3/4.

As suspected.

There is less mass to absorb the contact, also it is easier to avoid getting stuck to the back of the pack being that you are coming in at more of an angle. So it's more of a glancing blow.

Nice work and great posts.

Keep it up !!

Wait ... why would you be surprised? LOL, That's what I said. running english is left hand english on this shot. Extreme = a ton.

One thing on this shot- harder you strike the cb further down the tangent line
Too far and there is no coming out of the corner.

This is true, but you can change that by cutting the ball a bit more.

Honestly I contemplated a 4th shot:
Cut ball as thin as pocket would allow by jumping cb w high left.
Cueball contacts ball bounces off rail and lands <1rail> on/in the stack.
I was called "crazy" for playing like this.
