this has turned into a nightmare

paypal says i have to ship the cue before his "pending" funds are released

i wouldnt ship a $3000 cue to the POPE before being paid

finally got this fiasco resolved
i gave the high bidder a few days to try and find another way to pay,
via cashiers check, USPS money orders, anything EXCEPT paypal.
he couldnt do it.

the cue is going to the 2nd bidder, also another paypal glitch.
this time only a temporary 24 hour hold.
we figured it was probably due to the fact he's traveling right now and it came from a different than usual ip address for him.
anyways, it's all taken care of now.
the $$$$ is cleared and in my account to be handed over to the cancer center soon.

Congratulations to you on a great gesture. Also congatulations to the winner for their generosity. Wish more time was available. Would have liked to have seen the cue in person at SBE. Should have been entered in the "Cue of the Year" competition. JMHO.
