I have often addressed this forum with various difficulties I have had with the game. Today, I would like to share a positive landmark development.

I successfully broke & had some balls hanging on the lips of 2 pockets. I made a strategic decision to leave these pockets blocked & draw first blood on a difficult shot on the far end of the table. The rest was like an out of body experience. Thank you for your help.

ALRIGHT!! that's awesome:) after your first B&R you feel like you're on top of the world
May you have many more

CONGRATS----the first is the hardest. Now they'll come with greater frequency.

Just want to offer my congratulations, what a feeling huh? Almost like you're unstopable or cannot miss a shot. Like stated above now that you've got over that hurdle of the 1st one many more will come, enjoy :)

Congratulations. I remember my first B&Rs of 8 & 9 & 10 ball (10 ball was just last month, I haven't played it much). First time was 8 ball. I didn't realize what had happened, then I asked my opponent. Then I jumped up and down like an idiot.:)

Berlowmj,

Congrats!

I'd have to say for me getting the 8ball BNR was the hardest for me, because I was comming so close, but seemed to always end up just outa line for that one shot or, just couldnt break out that one ball i needed. But when i finally got the BNR in 8ball, I seemed to get a bit easier.

I had my first two pack in 8 ball two weeks ago, and i was like WOA!!!!!! I'm still stuck on a natural 2 pack in 9ball too, not counting combos and 9 on the breaks.

Keep on playing 8ball and you'll start to see your break n run patterns alot MORE!

good job rambo. I hope theres a sequel coming soon to a venue near you.....

Thank you --- for sharing. It brings back good memories of my first "the rest was like an out of body experience". I think you made MY day.
And right now I think I want to go play some pool.

Confidence!!!

Now that you have proven to yourself that you can do it, channel that confidence right into your stroke.:D :D

Well done on the b&r! It does feel good doesn't it? Now wait until you put a couple (or more) of them together! :D

I didn't manage a single b&r in my weekly bout with my buddy last night but on the whole I felt I played pretty well. Lol, he always tells me I'm "taking him to school" when I play well. Last night he said he felt like I was putting him through kidergarten again!! I just wish he'd believe me when I tell him he's getting better. He really is.
