Brown bumpers?

Besides prather, does anyone know, have, have a lead on some brown rubber bumpers? I'm looking to buy quite a few, but spending $20 for 1 is alittle on the crazy side, I'm not cheap, and I know about supply and demand, but WOW.

If anyone knows where I could have them made, and If I'd have to buy quit a few that's alright, but with in reason. Huebler doesn't sell them by the way so that road isn't worth going down either.

any real help would be appriciated.

I have a dozen original Brunswick, in the original box, PM me if sticker shock is not a problem.

I've inquired here on the board a few times over the past few years without any luck. If someone could work a deal with a manufacturer to produce a batch of them, I'd be in on the purchase.

If anyone knows of a shop/manufacterer that would do this, let me know, I atleast would like to find or get a quote on them. looking for probably more than 100 depending on the price 1000 would be doable.

yeah Mike, Brianna was going to have them, but nothing yet, I need some brown bumpers for some cue's coming up, and black will not do. Hate to up the price of the cue $25 for a bumper. But nothing else will do.

just so people know, I have no problem with Prather, great company, nice people. I just think $20 for a rubber bumper, .20cents worth of rubber is nut's, I know supply and demand, no one else really supplies them so they can demand what they want, but, if I found somewhere right now that had them for $5 you know I'd buy alot. So I'm on a mini quest to get some made or supplied to me at a reasonable price.

The Prather ones are pretty much the same as the original Brunswick ones though. Or as close as one can get. I certainly would not buy em in bulk for that price though...

These are originals, probably best reserved for restorations of early cues. They have a metal washers embedded inside them. Could you not cnc a mold and create your own? Just a thought. Good luck in your search.

Yeah I was think they would be better served in buska's, and boti's.

I'm not a cnc guy, this is a part I want made buy someone else, I'm far too buisy to take on this project, kind of like if I don't like the price of moori's why don't I make my own, my answer is I'm a cuemaker, not a parts guy, I'm hoping to be able to make my own joint pins in 3-5 years but for now, I'm happy with having them custom made by the best in the buisness. AH, the search continues.

I also have a number of the Brunswick Brown bumbers from the early 1960's. If you need one I can help, however, if you need a large number of them contact either Adam Cue, or competition Sports in New York. They still use them on their reproductions.

these guys should be able to do it. I doubt it would cost a fortune. It will be just a matter of running a stock item in a different color.
