A friend is looking to sell a table that he inherited with a house and came to me asking for a fair price. Since my business is more accessory than tables, I figured the knowledgeable folks here at the AZ mechanics section would be a good place to turn to. Here are the specs and his description of the table -
My nameplate says Brunswick Balke Collender, made between 1950 and 1960.
It is a 4 1/2" x 9" table with 3 piece 1 inch slate playing surface, has 4
tapered legs, with rounded corners and laminated poplar facings and buffed
cast anodized aluminum pockets with maroon vinyl drop pockets. Marked
underneath is PB 4231 4 1/2 x 9 and it measures 63" wide x 113" length x 31"
height overall and 50" x 100" play field with weight of 1100 lbs. It has some
normal wear for its age but in overall great condition. I have the
installation manual too
Any advice that I can [pass along would be greatly appreciated.
