Brunswick Table Value

A friend is looking to sell a table that he inherited with a house and came to me asking for a fair price. Since my business is more accessory than tables, I figured the knowledgeable folks here at the AZ mechanics section would be a good place to turn to. Here are the specs and his description of the table -

My nameplate says Brunswick Balke Collender, made between 1950 and 1960.

It is a 4 1/2" x 9" table with 3 piece 1 inch slate playing surface, has 4
tapered legs, with rounded corners and laminated poplar facings and buffed
cast anodized aluminum pockets with maroon vinyl drop pockets. Marked
underneath is PB 4231 4 1/2 x 9 and it measures 63" wide x 113" length x 31"
height overall and 50" x 100" play field with weight of 1100 lbs. It has some
normal wear for its age but in overall great condition. I have the
installation manual too

Any advice that I can [pass along would be greatly appreciated.

brunswick value

The value of a table like this will depend on a few things, like, the area where the table is,and the condition. This table will sell for more in California or New York versus the same table in Alabama for instance. The table looks to in pretty good shape from what can be determined from only a picture. I would think that $1200 to $1500 would be a fair estimate. If it needs any repair or cushions, then you could expect a lot less. It looks like a Brunswick Sport King which is a very good table, but not as desirable as an Anniversary or Gold Crown. Definitely a table that a player would like to have. Good luck

I once found a Sport King at a senior center.
Huge pockets, and strange looking slates.
Got it for $500 for a friend.

Different models of Sportsking?

Are there different models of this table during it's product run over the years?

IIRC-don't some have a more boxy appearance, with sort of 2x4 supports between the legs, visible at the base of the side pieces?

This one looks very sleek- very anniversary-ish. Nice looking table.
