:p ;) Several months ago Bryan Fisher offered a 25% discount to this forum on his existing stock. I jumped on this offer as I had had my eye on one of his wrapless cues for sometime, I asked that he make me a 2nd 30" shaft and I sent him payment. Well there were several delays in making the new shaft due to a second batch of cues, tournament engagements, out of stock materials, etc. and after 4 or 5 months I asked for my money back. Yesterday not only did I get my money back, but Bryan sent me a free J/B cue for my troubles.

I am sure it is not easy building a reputation as a quality que maker, keeping your customers happy, and supporting a family with young children. Just wanted to let everyone know he will go out of his way to please his customers. Also he seems to be quite the up and coming cue maker judging from how quickly his 2nd batch has sold.

I absolutely agree. His cues are of the highest quality and are backed by an individual that is top notch.

Should I still be waiting.

Hey Bryan,

You asked me what weight I like in my cue ?

remember BKWheels ?

(and I do like wrapless)

Were you just curious ?

Bryan does make a beautiful cue that plays excellent.

He is on his way to achieving top status.

I have purchased two cue's from him and they play great !!

Ditto

I also acquired one of Bryan's wrapless cues at the AZ discount rate. It was my first custom cue, and it didn't disappoint! Bryan is a great guy to deal with.

I know the feeling i ordered a matching Break/Jump to match my Fisher playing cue we worked everything out and months went by i would call him about every couple of months. I allways was told i had to wait for the next batch of cues to be done then i would get my cue. I got sick of the run around and cancelled my order also. But i never got a free jump cue . Not even im sorry or anything .

Sometimes how you're treated depends on your approach and attitude when inquiring about a product delay. Custom cues aren't churned out like production cues. There could be many factors to delay an order. Material shortage, shipping problems, mistakes during construction, time issues, and when starting out there could be financial issues that sometimes could be embarassing to the builder.

Does Bryan have a website?

I DON'T WANT TO BE A JERK, BUT YOU SAID YOU WAITED A FEW MONTHS..... THAT'S NOTHING IN THE CUE WORLD. I HAVE ORDERED, AND SO HAVE OTHERS, CUES THAT WERE IN CONSTRUCTION FOR OVER 2 YEARS. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT FROM ORDER TO DELIVERY, JUST TRUE WORK TIME, FROM START TO FINISH. WAIT TIMES ARE MUCH LONGER.

ONLY REASON I SAY THIS, IS BECAUSE IF YOU WERE GETTING A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT, WHY HURRY THE CUEMAKER?

JUST MY OPINION.... AND AS THEY SAY, WHAT'S WORTH HAVING, IS WORTH THE WAIT.

WERE YOU HAPPY WITH THE FIRST CUE YOU GOT FROM HIM?

Actualy Larry, you recieved an ebony/tiger custom sneaky to replace the conversion sneaky I sold BAMA cues, which I sold with only a sealing coat of finish on, he sold it to you, for $125-$175, you were not happy with it, you called me, I replaced it with a $350 cue in it's place no extra charge. I sent that cue to you on January 21st of this year, the first week of Febuary you wanted a matching b/j, I told you it would be 4-6 months, March 15th you asked where your b/j was I told you I don't work that fast, early April, you called again asking about it telling me other cuemakers put you to the top of there list automaticaly since your a selling, hyping machine. I told you again I don't work like that, I had orders in front of yours that had to be filled and you huffed and cancelled, hung up on me. about two months after making the order you expected it done. Sorry I couldn't put out the product in the amount of time that was good for you. By the way, I did never, and have never recieved any money directly from you for a cue, so as far as you feeling like you got a BAD DEAL, send me the $200 difference between the Conversion, and the Custom sneaky and then you can talk about me not sending you free stuff, or other compensation.

HAVE A NICE DAY

Wow Dave, you didn't mention the entire outcome and the upgraded item you received for free. Also, why would you expect to jump to the top of the list just b/c you sell cues? In additon here is a direct quote from your website -

"I build cues strictly on a part time basis. I'm not in any hurry to build or for that matter sell any of the cues I build."

THAT'S NOT DAVE ALBRECHT THAT IS POSTING. THE GUYS NAME IS LARRY.

I have purchased three of Bryan Fisher's cues one from this site and two from Bryan directly and I will say he has been excellent to work with and his cues are very nice and that piloted wood to wood joint he uses is really nice and produces are very crisp hit. I promise anyone that they will not be dissapointed in one of Bryan's cues. Good luck Bryan and thanks.

I love when people call a spade a "SPADE".................:D

I'd like to say thanks for your understanding scott, hope to get the chance to do business with you in the future.

Thank you everyone else for your kind words and understanding, I don't BANG cues out and don't want to, I would like the chance to build quality cues.

Thanks,

I have to say that although I have spoken to Bryan at length twice, I've never had a chance yet to see or play with one of his cues. Nevertheless, he patiently explains all the variations of the cues shown on his site, cues in production when that is the case, and is always willing to make a deal. It has just worked out that I have always bought something else, he hasn't had my specs, or I've been broke, but Bryan ALWAYS is a class act. From everything I've heard, his cues play jam up. I hear Bryan doesn't play to shabby himself :D ...Tom
