At that point, I wrote a post and said something to the effect of "Where's Mike Howerton on THIS one". Apparently Mike just got pissed and axed the entire thing rather than just his sick post. Too bad...there was a lot of good stuff in that thread from some sharp guys and many different angles to look at when it came to aiming by visual means and what is perceived as feel.

They didn't have this crap when I started out playing in tournaments in 64/65.

If you decide he does not have a cue either and has to shoot with a rubber chicken does that prove aiming systems are crucial when he cannot run 10 racks in a row?

The point was to take it to an extreme to see how an individual would learn to play the game on "FEEL" alone...all by himself.
Many on here tout that you should ONLY play by FEEL. Also that you should be totally COMFORTABLE. AFTER a certain point of development and knowledge, that starts happening. But the question is WHEN. What do you have to know...what do you have to learn...how do you learn it...and do you need to learn it from someone other than yourself.
Now, you got any bright ideas to convey?
all i know is people around here pass shooting 78,78.I just figured it was 80 but anyway the golf courses they play on are a joke.any good player could break 80 with no woods in their bag.the courses are like 6000 yards.what is the magic number to pass PAT.like i said any hack who pays the money and goes to a few classes and works at a golf course can be golf pro.it is a joke people out there teaching golf and they can't play a radio.

As far as me being a disruptive force, a board boil, and a drivermaker stalker I think you give me too much credit. I come and I go. I keep these pool message boards in a perpective that kind deals with reality, not to important. I think the boards can be informative, funny, and a casual pleasant waste of time. Your 3501 post tell it all. You don't know that much usefull pool information. You're the boil, you're stalker, and you're the disruptive force. As far as comparing the getting a GED certificate and the getting a Class A PGA ClubPro card I'm not sure which is more difficult. I do know it's not rock science running the pro shop at the local golf course. Dressing the part, pounding on the till, handing out cart keys, giving lessons to slashers, rearranging the over priced goods and kissing members asses does not a ball striker make. Are you a playing golf pro or a till pounder? I personally know 10 Class A golf pro's and they each get a stroke a side...LOL Your saying your a golf pro does not nessessarily mean you can hit a 2iron out of your shadow.
I've got a tee time at 2pm so later....maybe after golf season is over and Hardball season brings I post my OFF THE TABLE, UPSIDE DOWN CLOCK BELLYBUTTON AIMING SYSTEM just too see if you can pontificate on it.....it's for real and flawless...LOL

It really depends on what part of the country you live in as to the difficulty of the course. Here in GA, they play on some damn decent golf courses and revolve them around. Unfortunately, MANY of them are teaching before they are accredited pro's along with not enough years under their belt in playing experience. The PGA program is set up to get rid of the hack and weed those people out. What's your background...are you a pro? Can you play?

That's nice that you have a 2 pm tee time...I woudn't doubt another hacker that'll be holding up the course with slow play from losing balls and thrashing all over. BTW...tell me YOUR golf credentials.
I look forward to your posting about your aiming system. You must be one hell of a player at pool also.

Thanks for the vote of confidence...LOL I just checked the weather. The course will be playing 7100 from the tips, wind 20mph with gusts, the greens are long and narrow, double cut and rolled this morning( I know the greens keeper, he is on my speed dial). My credentials are that I PLAY the game, I never play 'kissing my sister golf', I will probably have to give this guy two a side to get the game I want( enough to pay some bills and fill the gas tank, you do the math). I will be hitting the 19 degree resue club all day long but my short game will hold me up. The 2iron went in the trunk years ago, I'm no fool...LOL
As far as my pool game...I have a lot of confidence in my pool game as long as I can keep that FEELING...LOL
As far as your wolfing and knowing your just another cyber nut case...you got an even game on the cloth or in the pasture...have a nice day. I gotta dress for success...LOL
