I have some buckhorn ferrules installed on two of my shafts, when I first got them, they looked really smooth, I have had them for two weeks now and the pores are showing and I feel them. How do I close or seals these pores in the buckhorn?

Hi ,I use alot of buckhorn and BHQ is right ,use CA to do it but you might want t send them back to builder if you dont have a lathe. Its not a big thing . Jeff

Is that mean he got the left horn:D jk. How can I tell is a good/right one?
It'll have no pits.
If you have to super glue coat it, throw it away.

BH ferrules with pitting are like land mines IMO. The structure isn't solid and can lead to cracking more so than other materials. Using CA only fills the holes that are exposed and not the ones that are under the surface.

There is BH that is far less pithy and therefore, much less likely to split, crack, or break.
