Forget what he said to me 3 nights ago about not being able to run 3 balls in a row. Tonight he said Lock, I just won $60.00 playing One Pocket for $5.00 a game. And I was running all my balls often. I should never had told him about a guy winning $4K playing 9 ball for $5.00 a game from Friday to Monday. I told him that a while back. He tried it and said he now gets all kind of action.
My answer was Buddy, why do you think people call you the Rifleman? He said I am back where I was then. So watch out everybody. The Rifleman is not on TV he is in Metropolis, Il. His name is Buddy Hall. He also said he had me coming thru on the speakers in his car. He has Stereo Lock N Load in the car with him. Does that mean that I am two times Lock N Load?

He was telling the truth, he beat me to death this afternoon. We play even and i beat him 3 out of the last 4 times but he was in dead punch today and getting out from everywhere. He really likes his new Meucci and his health has been real good lately so his game looked real strong today...
If everybody wonders why the nit bet... Playing Buddy for 5.00 is good practice between friends and has been our standard bet for years. BTW you know how bad a guy really wants to beat you when he is up 7 games at 5.00 a game and starts crying like its the end of the world when he gets out of line the first time all day...lol gotta love him..

I am glad that Buddy is back running balls. The man has always been one of Hero's but with said lately when I see him playing match's on line it appears that his health is not so good. I hope things continue to go his way because when I met him in the 1970's he was larger than life and indestructible not to mention he hardly ever missed a markable ball.

Thanks for the Pot Lock, Buddy certainly deserves thing to his way with all the pleasure he has given all of sweaters throughout the years.

Well, I'll tell you what, you tell Buddy if he wants to make some real money I'll travel there and play him for $10 a game.

A Buddy Hall in stroke is great for the game of pool.
 
Buddy Hall is an amazing talent, I was there when Bob made him his new BUDDY HALL BY MEUCCI. If I am not mistaken he ended up doing 3 or maybe 4 shafts!

Its certainly a beautiful thing. He makes it look so easy. When he shoots he hits the balls half as hard as i do to get to the same spot.
 
The only thing holding Buddy Hall back is his health and weight problem. If he could get that together NOBODY would like playing him.
 
If Buddy sticks with the diet plan that Bob Meucci put him on while I was back home playing pool with them well then he would drop the weight so fast. Bob Meucci has lost as much as 90 pounds in one month! :eek:

Your exactly right, people dog Meucci cues but fail to realize that Bob can change some things up and make a Meucci cue hit different than any other Meucci that you have ever used. I have several that bob made just for me and they hit COMPLETELY different than the production models that I own!

Are you kidding me. If he lost 90 pounds in one month his body would go into shock, a survival mode. Don't be unrealistic. You would lose so much muscle, which includes your heart, from lack of protein you would have serious health issues. Not true.

Heck, playing someone that is almost even for 5 bucks a game is fine, but I would gladly play him 10 bucks a game with no spot .... knowing I am WELL below his level. I would pay my way every night at that rate and be grateful. Heck, now that I think about it, asking him for hourly lessons would probably be cheaper, hehe.

Don't be too sure about that.
I lost 115lbs in a matter of weeks.



She got the house though.

When I played Buddy in Vegas we played for $10 a game and he asked me what weight I wanted. I said I didn't want any weight for $10 a game and he said we don't have to do that it's not fair. So I said well Cliff gives me 10:5 and Buddy said we CERTAINLY don't have to do that.......

We settled on 10:7 and the outcome was predictable.
