I would like to find a copy of Buddy Hall's book to read, I don't want to buy it, just read it and send it back, I would be willing to pay the postage and even put a deposit up, I have done business with several AZers here who would probably put a good word in for me. If you have a copy that you would lend me for a week or two please PM me. Thanks for your time.

I also have books on pool and poker that I would be willing to lend out too.

I don't have one myself but you can get 'em on Ebay for a couple of hundred and resell it there when your done.

I don't think most people would lend it out...... it's a big dollar book
 
I think there's some copies on Amazon too, can resell on ebay, maybe for a profit.

Thanks, hopefully it won't be like my stock purchases, I normally buy High and sell Low, if you know what I mean.

Did you try half priced books?

We have one here in town, and if they don't have it, they can see if any of their other stores have it. If you don't want to keep it when you are done you could resell it.
 
Thanks, is that a name of a chain, I checked ebay, no luck, amazon has a copy for $150, if I can't borrow one I might have to buy one, only need it for a week or so. I will check the internet for Halfpricedbooks

I bought mine before they were collectable/out of print and I wrote my name all over it w/a marker so it wouldn't get stolen in the ph.

So, it's not worth much on the collectors market. What the hell... I'll loan it to you. Pm your address and I'll send it.

DAMN, bro, you must be sittin' on a fortune if your willing to pay postage; a really frugal AZer would ask the owner to simply post the entire contents on the message board.:p

Greg, thanks for your comment, I won't touch that one, I did find a AZer who declined my offer to pay shipping, just said he would drop the book in the mail and not to worry about the postage. There are some nice people on this site, I will leave it at that.
 
I shouldl have pm'd you instead of posting. I've been swamped by offers to borrow the book so I'll answer all the pm's here.

I did lend the book to a fella I've known on az for quite a while so I don't have it now. I'm not going to start running back and forth to the post office with this book and I'm not going to have it worn to bits and pieces by lending it out over and over. So no more requests will be honored. Sorry.
