Break of a piece of old cloth though to not wear in the break spot though. It will wear much faster there.

I keep a piece of scrap cloth in my bag just for this (and practicing jumps)

The marks on the cloth tell the real story, and it kills me.
I'm workin on that.

See that line in the cloth when the cue ball lands on its way to the head ball?....
...even with a break cloth, those lines just keep getting worse.

Just throw all 9 balls on the table randomly and take BIH. Saves the table from rack marks, burn marks, and follow through marks. Also saves your back from racking. That's pretty much what I do.

Yes, I need to break 10b from the rail, so those marks are off the headstrong.

I have prob not broken 8b 20x on tht table.
And i rarly use the 1b when playing rotation, i rotate the hi balls in as pinch hitters.
Tryna keep my balls the samesize, ya know?

Sorry to agree with the majority, but the burns are permanent. There was an infrared video posted a while ago showing the temperatures generated on a hard shot but unfortunately I can't recall where; perhaps Dr. Dave could help? Either way, the wool is melted and there is no way back from that.
