Here is a very nice Spain cue.
Pretty rare one.
All inlays are ivory.

Beautiful cue. I really like the blue in it. Different. I am curious what it hits like. I know its subjective but....

The small pin with no pilot into the Ivory? Phenolic? Plastic? Course I guess this wouldn't be a daily player:D

I would like to hear your opinion on the hit though if you play with it.

I have hit a Robinson with the pin in the shaft but it was steel jointed...extremely stiff. Curious as to how much if any the harmonics of having the pin in the shaft as opposed to the butt effects the feel. Guess it depend on the quality of fit.

Very Very nice cue, I have included some addition information on it for you.

The photo below is from one of Burton Spains Catalogs, the cue pictured in your post is a Model #31.

The photo below is also from the catalog, it is the options that Burton would include with any cue from his catalog.

The photo below is another page from the catalog, and it clearly outlines that all inlays in your cue are Ivory, and the two other models listed also came standard with Ivory inlays.

Enjoy, and I really like your cue!!!

Oh and by the way, I have another photo of a model #31 that has stitched ring collars and a stainless steel joint.

Wowowow, I am glad I have found this thread!

Your cue truly is beautiful and unique also! I guess the joint could be Delrin-to-Delrin - I believe that Burton did prefer that combination.
Nice pictures indeed and as always... manwon, thank you for the details!
