Description of the Paul Mottey cue:
Weight :- 19.5 ounces with both shafts
Length :- 58.5 inches
Shafts :- 12.8mm at the bottom of the ferrule on both, 12.4 and 12.5mm at the top of the ferrule (ferrules cone to the top)
-1 shaft with newly installed Kamui Medium-soft.
Description :- The cue is in fine played with good condition. The shafts and butt are all straight when apart and together. The shafts have ivory ferrules and are clean and smooth. It is a 4 point cue with veneers and the inlay on the cue is abalone. The cue has some light finish scratches that would probably polish out, but something that you would find on any cue that was played with. There is a finish scratch on the joint collar that might not polish out. One small ding on the butt section and is hard to notice. The wrap is exotic lizard skin. Overall the cue is in great shape and would be what you expect to find in a cue that was played with lightly but very well taken care of.
Above descriptions are taken from email that sent by Scot Sherbine from Proficient Billiards to me for escrow service during the transaction for this Mottey cue not long ago. The condition still as described. I've played few racks with it but it has been in my Instroke case since. The only thing has changed is the tip on one of the shaft -- Changed to Kamui medium soft. Never hit a ball after the change yet.
I'm trying to describe to the closest condition to the actual cue. Please ask any questions.
