Here's a drop-dead, gorgeous, Bushka-style Dave Kikel cue with a ton of work in it, not to mention some fancy custom joint protectors. The cue is dead straight, together and apart and shows only faint signs of ever hitting a ball. It's close to showroom, with no marks or nicks, etc.
The cue features four ebony points and ebony butt sleeve and a highly -- and I mean highly -- figured bird's-eye maple forearm.
More specs and features:
Butt: 15 ounces, 29 inches.
Shaft 1: 4.0 ounces, 29 inches, ivory ferrule, Kamui black medium tip
Shaft 2: 4.0 ounces, 29 inches, ivory ferrule, stock tip from Dave
Buttcap -- ivory
Joint -- stainless steel, 5/16x14 pin
Bushka ring -- ivory and is sandwiched between two nickel rings.
Wrap -- black leather, very lightly textured, almost smooth
Black-green-blue-natural veneers
Butt sleeve has railroad tracks; two opposing, four notched diamonds to make one large diamond and rectangle all mother of pearl.
This is a lot of cue for the money ...
$2999, Fedex shipped

Looks pretty sweet to me. But I also love mother of pearl. I have a couple of Kikel's myself.

Real nice cue Joe. I heard Kikel cues are good but I have never owned or hit one.

Well, I just laid out money to Richard Black for the cue he built me. I also just traded for the Kenny Murrell I just got. I think I am all cues out right now. I like the Kikel a lot though.

Drop dead gorgeous!!

I have had a few Kikel's and my main cue is still a Kikel. Had a friend in the burbs of Chicago that has a dozen or more. We both think he was an under appreciated cue maker. Not one of mine was a dog, the balance was great and if Dave said a cue would be ready in a time window it was every single time. Great cue maker and person!
